the challenge
Queen Exterior Solutions got connected with Ad Labz to generate more revenue using PPC campaigns. They have been previously running a campaign on their own but most of their ad spend got wasted and no conversions were recorded, hence no revenue was generated.
Upon review we saw that the campaign targeting was not setup accroding to best practices while the choice of keywords was also not optimal. The negative keyword funnel was absent which allowed their ads to appear on non-relevant search terms, resulting in wastage.
the solution
Due to the challenges Queen Exterior was facing with old campaign, we decided to create a new search campaign from scratch. The chosen approach was to break up each service into its own dedicated ad group.
Multiple Call-only and Responsive Search Ads (RSAs) were created within each ad group and multiple types of extensions were also associated with each ad group to ensure maximum ad visibility.
An extensive keyword research was done to identify the most promising keywords to target. Keywords were carefully added to each ad group to prevent keyword cannibalization. Along with target keywords, an extensive negative keyword list was also prepared and associated with campaign from day one to ensure our ads appear only on relevant search terms.
Once the campaign was launched, weekly bid management and negative keyword management was done to keep the campaign optimized and prevent budget waste.
Initially all location specific keywords were placed in a single ad group per service but once we had sufficient data on high performing locations, an addtional location based ad group layer was created on top of service based ad group so that these location based keywords are targeted effectively.
Ad Copy A/B testing was conducted continuously along with performance reports shared with client on a monthly basis.
